Lamborajo Fleet 1, 2 & 3: Full Specs, Cabins and 2027 Rates

Lamborajo is a three-boat Labuan Bajo fleet, not one vessel. Lamborajo I carries up to 24 guests in 6 cabins with shared bathrooms, Lamborajo II up to 25 guests in 8 cabins, and Lamborajo III — 38 m long, 6.8 m wide — up to 22 guests in 8 en-suite cabins. Most people who search “Lamborajo 1”, “Lamborajo 2” or “Lamborajo 3” are trying to work out one thing: which of the three boats fits their group and their budget. This page answers that with the actual published rate card, cabin counts and guest capacities — no enquiry form in the way.

The three boats share a harbour, a crew culture and a route, but they are genuinely different products. One is a big, sociable semi-phinisi built for group trips at the lowest cost per head. One is the mid-tier all-rounder with a jacuzzi and water toys. One is the flagship cruise yacht. Getting that choice right matters more than any other decision in a Komodo trip.

Lamborajo I, II and III side by side

Two details in that table are worth pausing on. First, Lamborajo I carries more guests than Lamborajo III (24 versus 22) in fewer cabins (6 versus 8). That is the whole trade: the older boat sleeps people densely and shares bathrooms; the flagship gives every cabin its own. Second, we publish “not published” rather than inventing hull dimensions for I and II. Length and beam for those two are not in our public spec sheet; the reservations desk will send the naval measurements on request.

The full 2027 charter rate card

These are whole-boat prices. You are hiring the vessel, her crew and her galley — not a seat. The tiers work on group size, and above 20 guests each additional person is charged at the per-person supplement in the last column.

Worked example, because the tiers confuse people: a group of 24 on Lamborajo I for 3D2N pays the 17–20 tier of USD 4,000, plus four extra guests at USD 220 each, for a total of USD 4,880. Divided across 24 people that is about USD 203 per person for three days and two nights aboard, including crew and meals. A full boat of 22 on Lamborajo III for the same duration comes to USD 9,850 + (2 × USD 300) = USD 10,450, or roughly USD 475 per person.

Cabins and who sleeps where

Every vessel carries snorkelling gear, beach towels and diving equipment, and every itinerary includes tender transfers to each landing. Karaoke on I and II is not a joke feature — on Indonesian family and corporate charters it is one of the most-used items on board.

Which Lamborajo is best for you?

• Best for large groups on a budget — Lamborajo I. At roughly USD 200 per person for 3D2N with 24 aboard, nothing else in the harbour with a crew, a galley and a licence gets close. You accept shared bathrooms.
• Best all-rounder — Lamborajo II. Eight en-suite cabins, jacuzzi, kayak and banana boat, and the widest capacity band (25). The natural pick for a mixed family group or a 15–20 person company trip.
• Best for comfort and photography — Lamborajo III. The 38-metre hull is noticeably steadier in the open water between Kalong and Padar, the bar and lounge give you somewhere to be that is not a cabin, and 22 guests across 8 cabins means real space.
• Best for couples and solo travellers — none of the above as a charter. If you are two people, hiring a whole boat makes no sense. Ask about a share-trip cabin instead, or look at scheduled departures.
