Lamborajo Prices & Booking 2027: Open Trip vs Private Charter
Lamborajo publishes whole-boat charter rates: from USD 3,400 for a 2D1N on Lamborajo I to USD 11,300 for a 4D3N on Lamborajo III with 20 guests. Filled to capacity, that works out from roughly USD 142 to USD 475 per person for the whole trip. Park fees, flights, diving and tips are extra.
Very few Komodo operators publish rates. We do, because the alternative — “contact us for pricing” — wastes your time and ours. Below is the complete card, the all-in cost worked out with the fees nobody includes, and a straight explanation of when an open trip beats a private charter.
The full charter rate card

What that means per person
Charter pricing rewards filling the boat. Here is the same card divided by guests, using the top capacity tier — the figures that matter when you are splitting a bill in a group chat.
| Vessel | 2D1N | 3D2N | 4D3N |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lamborajo I | ~USD 185 | ~USD 200 | ~USD 220 |
| Lamborajo II | ~USD 345 | ~USD 388 | ~USD 463 |
| Lamborajo III | ~USD 448 | ~USD 493 | ~USD 565 |
At full capacity the numbers improve further. Lamborajo I with 24 guests on 3D2N is USD 4,000 + (4 × USD 220) = USD 4,880, or about USD 203 per person. Lamborajo II with 25 on 3D2N is USD 7,750 + (5 × USD 300) = USD 9,250, about USD 370 each. Lamborajo III with 22 on 3D2N is USD 9,850 + (2 × USD 300) = USD 10,450, about USD 475 each.
The all-in cost nobody publishes
Charter rate is not trip cost. Here is a worked total for a group of 20 foreign visitors taking Lamborajo II for 3D2N, with every extra we can put a figure to.
| Line item | Basis | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Whole-boat charter | 17–20 tier, 3D2N | USD 7,750 |
| Komodo National Park entrance | IDR 250,000 × 20 (PP No. 36/2024) | IDR 5,000,000 |
| Ranger, trail and local retribution | Collected at the park; operators commonly bundle to a single payment | Variable — ask for an itemised figure |
| Return flights Bali–Labuan Bajo | ~IDR 900,000–1,500,000 each way, per person | Booked by you |
| Airport / hotel transfer in Labuan Bajo | Included with charter | USD 0 |
| Scuba diving | Quoted per dive; arrange before departure | Optional |
| Alcohol, crew gratuity, insurance | Discretionary | Your call |
| Boat + park entry, per person | USD 7,750 ÷ 20, plus IDR 250,000 | ~USD 388 + IDR 250,000 |
On park fees: you will see IDR 600,000, IDR 650,000 and IDR 900,000 quoted elsewhere as “the Komodo entrance fee”. Those are bundles — regulated entrance plus regional retribution plus ranger and trail services. The regulated entrance component under PP No. 36/2024 is IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per visit, and IDR 50,000 weekday or IDR 75,000 weekend and public holiday for Indonesian visitors. The widely reported IDR 3,750,000 conservation “membership” proposed in 2022 was cancelled and does not apply.
Open trip versus private charter
| Open trip (per cabin / per seat) | Private charter (whole boat) | |
|---|---|---|
| You pay for | Your berth on a scheduled departure | The entire vessel and crew |
| Dates | Fixed departure calendar | Your dates, subject to availability |
| Itinerary | Fixed route | Adjustable with the captain |
| Break-even group size | 1–6 people | From about 8–10 people upward |
| Best for | Solo travellers, couples, flexible friends | Families, company trips, groups of 12–25 |
The break-even is the useful number. Below roughly eight people, a scheduled cabin almost always wins. Above twelve, chartering Lamborajo I costs less per head than most shared seats on the harbour — and you get the boat to yourselves. For the wider set of vessels and scheduled departures, private yacht charter rates in Komodo shows what sits above this fleet.
How to book
- Send dates, group size and vessel to WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 or [email protected].
- We confirm availability and the current rate — peak windows can carry a surcharge over the published card.
- Deposit secures the date. The reservations desk confirms the amount and payment method in writing; never transfer against a number given verbally.
- Balance before departure, with the park fee settled at check-in on the pier.
- Get the cancellation and weather policy in writing, particularly for December-to-March dates.

Rates are taken from the operator’s published Lamborajo charter card, current 1 August 2026, and apply to 2026–2027 sailings. Per-person figures are arithmetic on those rates, not separate products. Park fees follow PP No. 36/2024. Confirm the live rate before transferring a deposit.
