Lamborajo 1: Cabins, Capacity, Deck Life & 2027 Rates
Lamborajo 1 is the value workhorse of the three-boat Lamborajo fleet: a semi-phinisi cruise yacht with 6 cabins, shared bathrooms and berths for up to 24 guests, chartered as a whole boat from USD 3,400 for 2D1N. Filled with a full group, it delivers the lowest cost per head of any vessel in the fleet — roughly USD 200 per person for a 3D2N Komodo sailing.
Nobody charters Lamborajo 1 for the jacuzzi — she does not have one. You charter her because she sleeps two dozen people, feeds them three times a day, sails the same Padar–Pink Beach–dragon route as boats costing three times as much, and does it at a per-head price that scheduled seat-sellers on the harbour struggle to match. This page gives you her real numbers: cabins, capacity, the published rate card and the arithmetic behind it.
Lamborajo 1 at a glance
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Type | Semi-phinisi cruise yacht |
| Cabins | 6 |
| Maximum guests | 24 |
| Bathrooms | Shared |
| Jacuzzi | No |
| Hull dimensions | Not published — spec sheet on request |
| Home port | Labuan Bajo harbour, Flores |
| Charter basis | Whole boat only, with crew, galley and snorkelling gear |
The cabin-to-guest ratio is the honest headline. Six cabins for 24 people means most cabins sleep four, and bathrooms are shared between cabins rather than en-suite. That is precisely why the boat is priced the way she is. Groups that want a private bathroom behind every door should read the Lamborajo 2 page; groups optimising for cost per person should keep reading.
Lamborajo 1 charter rates 2027
These are whole-boat prices from the operator’s published card. You hire the vessel, not a seat. Tiers move with group size, and above 20 guests each additional person pays the supplement in the last column.
| Duration | 1–12 guests | 13–16 guests | 17–20 guests | Each extra guest (to 24) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2D1N | USD 3,400 | USD 3,500 | USD 3,700 | USD 200 |
| 3D2N | USD 3,700 | USD 3,850 | USD 4,000 | USD 220 |
| 4D3N | USD 4,100 | USD 4,200 | USD 4,400 | USD 250 |
What that means per person
Simple division, not a separate product: a 3D2N charter with 12 guests is USD 3,700 ÷ 12 ≈ USD 308 each. With 20 guests, USD 4,000 ÷ 20 = USD 200 each. At the full 24, USD 4,000 + (4 × USD 220) = USD 4,880, about USD 203 each — three days, two nights, all meals, full crew. The complete group arithmetic across all three boats is on the cost per person for groups page.
What is included — and what is not
- Included: the whole vessel and crew, all meals from the galley, drinking water, snorkelling equipment, tender transfers to beaches and trailheads, and airport or hotel transfer in Labuan Bajo.
- Not included: Komodo National Park fees (the regulated entrance component under PP No. 36/2024 is IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per visit), ranger and local charges collected at the park, flights, alcohol, diving and crew gratuities.
Who Lamborajo 1 is right for
Three groups keep this boat busy. Big friend groups and extended families who would rather spend on an extra day at sea than on brass fittings. Offices sending 12 to 24 staff on a company outing, where budget-per-head is the number that gets signed off. And travellers who priced scheduled per-seat departures, did the maths, and realised a full charter costs less per person once the group passes roughly twelve people.
She is the wrong boat for couples wanting privacy, for anyone who will not accept a shared bathroom, and for groups of eight or fewer — at that size the charter split rises above USD 450 each and a scheduled cabin is usually the better buy. Larger and more private vessels sit above this fleet with the wider Komodo boat charter fleet.
Route and boarding
Lamborajo 1 sails the standard Komodo circuit out of Labuan Bajo: Padar viewpoint, Pink Beach, a ranger-guided dragon trek on Komodo or Rinca, and the manta channel, with Kalong Island’s sunset bat exodus on multi-day itineraries. Boarding follows the fleet pattern — hotel pick-up from 08:00, pier check-in from about 09:00, departure between 09:30 and 10:30. Day-by-day timings are on the 3D2N departure times page, and seasonal sea conditions on the 2027 sailing schedule.
