Lamborajo 3: The 38-Metre Flagship — Specs & 2027 Rates
Lamborajo 3 is the flagship of the fleet: a 38-metre cruise yacht, 6.8 metres in the beam, cruising at 7–10 knots, with 8 en-suite cabins for up to 22 guests and a deck jacuzzi. Whole-boat charter starts at USD 7,900 for 2D1N and USD 8,650 for 3D2N.
She is the only Lamborajo whose naval measurements sit in the public spec sheet, and the numbers explain the rate: 38 metres of hull carrying 22 guests means more boat per person than anywhere else in the fleet. Lamborajo 3 exists for groups who want the value-fleet price logic — whole boat, published card, no enquiry-form theatre — but at the top finish level the fleet offers.

Note the deliberate trade against Lamborajo 2: the flagship carries fewer guests — 22 against 25 — in the same eight cabins. Lower density is the product. A 38-metre hull also matters under way: the day this route gets lumpy, in the open stretches past Padar or on shoulder-season crossings, length and displacement are what keep lunch on the table.
Lamborajo 3 charter rates 2027
| Duration | 1–12 guests | 13–16 guests | 17–20 guests | Each extra guest (to 22) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2D1N | USD 7,900 | USD 8,400 | USD 8,950 | USD 250 |
| 3D2N | USD 8,650 | USD 9,250 | USD 9,850 | USD 300 |
| 4D3N | USD 9,650 | USD 10,450 | USD 11,300 | USD 350 |
What that means per person
Division on the published card, nothing more: 3D2N with 12 guests is USD 8,650 ÷ 12 ≈ USD 721 each. With 20, USD 9,850 ÷ 20 ≈ USD 493 each. At the full 22, USD 9,850 + (2 × USD 300) = USD 10,450, about USD 475 each for the flagship. Fleet-wide comparisons sit on the cost per person for groups page.
Who Lamborajo 3 is right for
Three bookings recur. Family milestones — a 60th birthday, an anniversary — where two or three generations share the boat and nobody should draw the short cabin. Leadership or client groups of 12 to 20 where the boat itself is part of the message. And photography-minded groups who want the largest deck spaces in the fleet between Padar, Pink Beach and the manta channel. Groups optimising purely for budget belong on Lamborajo 1; parties larger than 22 need Lamborajo 2 or a two-boat split.
Above this fleet sits a different market altogether — crewed luxury phinisi with cabin counts under ten and rates several times higher. If that is what you are pricing, start with Komodo Luxury, the reservations desk behind all three Lamborajo boats.
Route and boarding
Lamborajo 3 runs the full Komodo circuit from Labuan Bajo: Padar viewpoint at first light on multi-day itineraries, Pink Beach, ranger-guided dragon trekking on Komodo or Rinca, Karang Makassar’s mantas and Kalong’s sunset bat flight. Season planning is on the 2027 sailing schedule; the full timing breakdown is on the 3D2N departures page.
