Komodo Trip Cost Per Person for Groups of 12–25
For groups of 12–25, a whole-boat Komodo trip on the published Lamborajo card works out between roughly USD 200 and USD 546 per person for 3D2N, depending on which boat and how full you sail it. The cheapest defensible number in the fleet is Lamborajo 1 at 20 guests: USD 4,000 ÷ 20 = USD 200 a head.
Most “cost per person” articles wave at ranges. This one shows the division, because the whole-boat rates behind it are published and checkable. Pick your group size in the tables below, read across, and add the fixed extras at the bottom — that is your real number.
Cost per person, all three boats, 3D2N
| Group size | Lamborajo 1 | Lamborajo 2 | Lamborajo 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 | USD 3,700 → ~308 | USD 6,550 → ~546 | USD 8,650 → ~721 |
| 16 | USD 3,850 → ~241 | USD 7,150 → ~447 | USD 9,250 → ~578 |
| 20 | USD 4,000 → ~200 | USD 7,750 → ~388 | USD 9,850 → ~493 |
| Full boat | 24 pax: USD 4,880 → ~203 | 25 pax: USD 9,250 → ~370 | 22 pax: USD 10,450 → ~475 |
Shorter and longer trips
| Duration | Lamborajo 1 | Lamborajo 2 | Lamborajo 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2D1N | USD 3,700 → ~185 | USD 6,900 → ~345 | USD 8,950 → ~448 |
| 3D2N | USD 4,000 → ~200 | USD 7,750 → ~388 | USD 9,850 → ~493 |
| 4D3N | USD 4,400 → ~220 | USD 9,250 → ~463 | USD 11,300 → ~565 |
Notice what the table says about nights: on Lamborajo 1, the jump from two days to four days costs a 20-person group only USD 35 more per head. Time on the water is the cheapest thing this fleet sells — a point developed properly in the 2D1N vs 3D2N vs 4D3N comparison.

How to use these numbers
- Groups of 12–16 optimising cost: Lamborajo 1 at USD 241–308 a head is the fleet’s floor. Shared bathrooms are the trade; if that fails the group vote, Lamborajo 2 at USD 447–546 is the next line.
- Groups of 17–20: the 17–20 rate tier is where every boat’s per-head number bottoms out before extra-guest supplements start. It is the arithmetic sweet spot of the whole card.
- Groups of 21–25: only Lamborajo 1 (to 24) and Lamborajo 2 (to 25) can carry you on one hull — capacity detail on boats for 20–25 people.
- Company groups: the same maths with office logistics layered on is on the company outing page.
If your party is under twelve, the per-person arithmetic stops favouring charters — scheduled cabin departures across Labuan Bajo liveaboard departures will usually beat the split, and the open trip pricing guide explains how to compare seat quotes honestly.
